Growing ASEAN-Hong Kong business ties! InvestHK welcomed nearly 200 members of the ASEAN business community to a networking reception at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum (Jan 28). ASEAN is Hong Kong’s second-largest trading partner, with trade exceeding HK$1.3 trillion last year, and approximately 800 ASEAN-headquartered companies based here. This partnership is set to deepen even further with the recent opening of Hong Kong’s Economic and Trade Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — its fourth in ASEAN. Additionally, the China ASEAN Economic Linkage Select Index ETF was listed on the HKEX this January.

東盟與香港的經貿聯繫日益緊密！投資推廣署於 1 月 28 日在香港海事博物館舉行東盟企業交流酒會，近 200 名東盟各商會、協會及商界代表出席。東盟為香港第二大貿易夥伴，去年雙邊貿易額超過1萬3000億港元，約有 800 家總部位於東盟的公司在香港設立。隨著特區政府在馬來西亞吉隆坡開設經濟貿易辦事處，亦是特區政府在東盟地區的第四個經貿辦，雙方的經貿聯繫勢將進一步深化。此外，中國東盟經濟互聯指數ETF亦於今年 1 月在香港交易所上市。
