Hong Kong dazzles in Geneva!💡✨ We are thrilled to share some incredible news! Our Hong Kong delegation has achieved historic results at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, bringing home nearly 300 awards. Held from March 11-15 in Switzerland, this world-renowned invention exhibition saw 44 Hong Kong organisations – including universities, R&D centres, tech companies, government departments and schools – showcase their remarkable innovations. The numbers are stunning: 12 Special Awards (a record high); 57 Gold Medals with Congratulations of Jury; 98 Gold Medals; and The Oasis One International's tropical marine finfish aquaculture industrial chain solution has won the top award! A huge round of applause to all these brilliant minds putting Hong Kong’s I&T on the world stage!👏
Inventions of 12 Special Awards:
· The Oasis One International Limited - Tropical marine finfish aquaculture industrial chain solution (also GRAND PRIX winner)
· Drainage Services Department - Crawler-type all-terrain pipeline survey robot "T300"
· InnoHK Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre, University of Hong Kong - Nose-to-brain nanopowder nasal spray for rapid ischemic stroke rescue
· InnoHK The Microbiota I-Center, The Chinese University of Hong Kong - Synbiotic formula (SLD07) for liver health
· City University of Hong Kong - Seawater desalination device
· Hong Kong Baptist University - AI-powered fact-checking as a service
· The Hong Kong Polytechnic University - PD-001R for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases; and Power Generator Inspection: The Baffle-compatible Autonomous Robot
· MTR Corporation Limited: Acoustic GearGuard - Al-enhanced acoustic for running gear health and maintenance optimisation
· Hong Kong Innovation Foundation Limited - ParkNSave (Youth Group)
