Before rounding up his visit to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, Financial Secretary Paul Chan (Jan 22) attended a thematic session "How to Finance Decarbonization?". He highlighted Hong Kong’s progress towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 with strategies that include providing tax concessions for electric vehicles, incentives for green buildings and financial support for trials of innovative technologies such as sustainable hydrogen-powered transport. Mr Chan also held a series of meetings with top executives to exchange views on the current global economic and market situation and share Hong Kong's perspectives.

財政司司長陳茂波（1月22日）在瑞士達沃斯參與世界經濟論壇年會的活動，在行程結束前他出席題為「如何為減碳項目融資」的專題會議，分享香港2050年實現碳中和的目標以及實踐的策略，包括為電動車提供稅務減免、為綠色建築提供誘因以及為可持續氫能交通工具等的試驗提供財政支持。陳茂波亦與各地政商及國際組織領袖會面，就當前環球經濟、市場情況交換意見，並分享香港的觀點。
