Running in the city!🏃♂️🏃♀️ Around 70,000 runners including a quarter from outside Hong Kong participated in Standard Chartered HK Marathon yesterday (Jan 18). A record 42 elite international runners, including World Athletics Gold Label athletes, competed alongside local elites. Bizuneh Melaku Belachew from Ethiopia won the men’s race for the second time, while Bahrain’s Shitaye Eshete H. Habte won the women’s race. The marathon – Hong Kong’s largest participatory sporting event – boosts Hong Kong's position as a major international sports hub.🌟

全城投入渣馬！🏃♂️🏃♀️ 渣打香港馬拉松（渣馬）已圓滿結束（1月18日），約有7萬名跑手參加，四分之一為非本地跑手，當中42位為國際精英跑手，包括金標跑手，與本地精英跑手一起競賽，創下歷屆記錄。埃塞俄比亞選手Bizuneh Melaku Belachew在全馬男子組奪冠，第二次成為渣馬王者，而來自巴林的Shitaye Eshete H. Habte則贏得女子組冠軍。渣馬是香港最多人參與的體壇盛事，吸引各地跑手一同競技，鞏固香港作為國際體育盛事之都的地位。🌟
