In the Global Innovation Index 2025 released on Sep 16 by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Hong Kong climbed three spots to rank 15th globally among 139 economies, solidifying its position as the 5th most innovative economy in Asia. Hong Kong's ranking in the "Innovation Input" category rose to 8th globally. Additionally, the city's progress in the "Innovation Output" category moved up nine places to 22nd. With Hong Kong developing its I&T landscape through the establishment of "three major I&T parks" and "five key R&D institutions," the future of innovation and technology is bright!💡✨
