Breaking News!📢 Hong Kong has moved up one place to become the No.2 most competitive economy, according to the latest World Competitiveness Ranking 2026, published today (Jun 18) by the International Institute for Management Development. It is Hong Kong’s highest ranking since 2019, following three consecutive years of improvement.👏 Among 70 economies assessed, Hong Kong ranked No.2 in “Government efficiency” and No.3 in “Business efficiency” competitiveness factors. Among the competitiveness sub-factors, Hong Kong ranked No. 1 for both “Tax policy” and “Business legislation”.
