Established in 1993, the UCI Track World Cup is a premier event second in prestige only to the Olympic Games and the UCI World Championships. The series was renamed the “UCI Track Nations Cup” following a reform in 2021 and has been rebranded as the “UCI Track World Cup” this year. The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China (CAHK) previously hosted the UCI Track World Cup in the 2015/16, 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons, as well as the UCI Track Nations Cup in 2021 and 2024.
