The first global promotional drive since the lifting of the pandemic-induced travel restrictions, “Hello Hong Kong” is a massive publicity campaign driven concertedly by the public and private sectors, which have pulled out all the stops to attract tourists and business visitors alike from around the world. The campaign includes a draw for 500,000 air tickets, which are being distributed globally over a period of about six months starting from March 1. No less than 200 large-scale events ranging from arts and culture to sports and entertainment will be held alongside business events targeting MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) visitors and holidaymakers throughout the year. Leaders and influencers from various sectors are also invited to visit Hong Kong – Asia’s world city.
World of Winners: The 500,000 air-tickets are being distributed by three local airlines: Cathay Pacific, HK Express and Hong Kong Airlines over a period of about six months starting from March 1.
Hong Kong Goodies: Over 1 million welcome gifts, including cash vouchers and welcome drinks coupons, are being distributed to visitors.
